Can’t add the clip here but this was some moment in history (for me anyway!). * Worked a treat actually!
One of the most exciting games I have ever attended, made all the sweeter because after the one nil reversal at Oakwell, we wiped the smug smile off Town Manager Peter Jacksons face. A lot of my colleagues at work were Town fans and to say they were absolutely stunned when we beat them on their own muck heap was an understatement.
Free to watch over the coming days. Loved that (as will be obvious to anyone who watches it) and I think the stream worked the best so far.
Really enjoyed that. . Nards looks really well. Many thanks to Daniel for preparing and presenting the feature for us. Greatly appreciated. Really looking forward to the next two re- Redders and Higgy.
Always good when you see footballer’s land on a focused career after their playing days are over. Thought it was funny how adamant he was that he’s no interest in returning to coaching or anything like that!
Until I watched your link last night, I'd forgotten how Nards was sidelined by Paul Hart. I remember now, our fans used to sing " we've got Nardiello, but Paul Hart weyn't gi him a go." Quality.! Hart has got to be one of the most dour managers we've ever had.? He was to humour what a lighted cig end is to the Forestry Commission.!
Had that same conversation last night. Paul Hart wasn’t very well liked at all, and didn’t he try and play with his famous diamond formation from when he had some success at Forest?
Yes he seemed to have a slavish commitment to playing one way. You could sense that things were not right at the Club as you rarely saw "anyone" with a smile on their face. It's always amazed me how he has remained in football for so long. I don't know what he's doing now, but it came as no surprise to know that he was assistant to Nathan Jones during his disastrous spell at Stoke City.
Again really enjoyed the interview. He was hard done by when Hart was here. That man wasn't liked by many, it always looked like he was trying to prove a point to players and fans. I always thought it was because of how it ended for him at Forest. Tried being another Cloughy but lacked his charisma and man management abilities.
