    Leo Varadkar the Taoiseach (Prime Minister) of the Republic of Ireland has re-registered as a medical doctor and is going to join the ranks of the HSE (healthcare system) to care for Covid patients.

    He will do 1 shift per week.

    His partner Dr Matthew Barrett is presently working as a Cardiologist in the States and it is he
    who apparently urged Leo to re-register as a doctor.

    Leo comes from a family of doctors as well I think.
