    Because Barnsley council absolutely after a managed site visit stupidly gave them a signed letter encouraging them to stay open which they are now using as justification

    Any company can operate whether it's essential or not. The only thing is that a retail outlet (including food) can't open its doors to the public unless it is essential. As ASOS is online only it doesn't open its doors to the public so can continue to operate.

    The next legislation that is brought in FAST should be any company who are found not to be taking all reasonable steps to enforce the distancing guidelines should suffer HEAVY fines
