    Given the Imperial College who provided the modelling that **** everyone up have revised their mortality figures I suspect we will start seeing a softening of the measures in place coinciding with a greater degree of testing for current/former hosts within the next three weeks or so returning to almost normality around the end of May mid June barring the most vulnerable.

    Especially as the lockdown is seemingly ******* pointless in London.

    I think some people will become increasingly frustrated at being isolated and will reason?? that in some circumstances it's o.k. to be out and about - for instance my niece reckons that by the end of next week she will have s. I. for long enough to know that she hasn't got the virus and it will be safe to go to her boyfriends who will also have s.i. for long enough.

    Untill an effective treatment. A Vaccine wont be available for 18 months or so.. but I think a treatment is round the corner.. something to relieve the effects. but the most vunerable will be in lockdown for along time. im going mid May.. just when the warm weather kicks in. because they have no chance of keeping the british public indoors in the warm weather..

    I’m not convinced. Speaking to a few doctor friends about this and the virus doesn’t behave like any other virus. It’s odd. I guess nature always finds a way.

    Of course he is vague he as not much more idea than the rest of us- There are many things I can fault Gove on but being vague on how long we will need to have some lockdown isnt really one of them

    Folks should be seeing what's happening in Spain and take it more seriously. Loved the story of the Sheffield guy who drove to Snowdonia and locals blocked him in until the cops they rung had arrived to deal with him.

    A leading adviser to the UK government, Neil Ferguson, has warned the country's lockdown will need to be in place "probably until the end of May, maybe even early June" (BBC update this morning)

    Never heard of him deetee, but at the moment the weather is helping keep people in, been freezing lately. As the weather heats up, sun comes out, and cabin fever takes effect, I can see many people flouting the lockdown in greater numbers.
    It's not even 2 weeks in and already I'm climbing the walls-not helped by daytime telly!
