    Just been on and cancelled my iFollow annual subscription auto renewal as I have no idea when football will restart. Does anyone know if the current season is extended this years subs will continue beyond the original expiry/auto renewal date? Forgot to ask. Since there was no refund amount offered for cancelled matches I assume only the auto renewal is cancelled and not my current subscription.

    That’s a good idea. I must remember to do that if we are still on hold nearer the time. I’d be very surprised if they roll over the annual sub into august if this season hasn’t finished yet but maybe I misjudge them.

    Mine auto-renews around August. I'll leave it to nearer the time and see what happens with this season, and next.

    I think there is something like 5 days prior notice before auto renewal date somewhere in the small print guys.
    ALso T&C states
    5.4.3. if your subscription is renewed as above (and you opted to receive your renewed subscription benefits immediately, waiving your right to cancel) you may only cancel the contract where we are not at fault if you provide us with at least 30 days’ notice of your desire to cancel. The contract will not end until the end of the calendar month in which that notice expires. You will be entitled to a pro-rata refund of any sums you have paid relating to the period after termination, less an administration charge of ten per cent (10%) of that refund value.

    However the guy on chat never mentioned that when I told him I wanted to cancel and just terminated the auto renewal. Not really that bothered this far into the season though as by the time they have finished with the admin fee and cancelled it at the end of April at the earliest it would not amount to anything worth having as I only paid 130 euros for the whole season. We also all have far more important things to worry about.

    If/when next season kicks off I may just pay monthly depending on what happens close season. Which division we are in is not the key factor for me but player recruitment/retention will be. Stay safe!!

    Be fair... I do often post about footie during and just after matches I have watched on iFollow. The problem this season is I do enough ranting O/T so adding to it with (justifiable for much of this season) post match ranting would be a bridge too far!
