    Cavare must have agreed to take the pay cut. As LK rightly says he's not one of those
    who have been sacked.

    How's it even allowed that you can sack someone if you don't want to honour the contract you offered them to sign?

    Contracts in employment don’t really mean anything, you can change anyone’s contract at any time, it just comes down to you have to give enough notice

    Pretty much. It's essentially redundancy, but under the headline of being sacked.

    Happened at our place and many others across the country this week.
