I was more on about people's frustrations. I won't be attending the pub anytime soon. However, I can see how apathy could set in amongst those continually being put at risk.
In Bavaria in Germany, the government have imposed a total lockdown because people weren't taking the issue seriously. People there were organising "Corona Parties" FFS. The police will enforce it. I'm currently trying to persuade my circle of Dodworth friends to stop going out. Sadly, it's a losing battle. One of them has a 66 year old husband ill at home with heart disease, but she's still off to the pub tonight. Another friend is 74 and diabetic, he's off out too. They think it's their right FFS.
I've heard this saying from the people we're trying to protect, "If I'm dying. I'm going to die happy".
