@John Peachy A year or two back, you posted one of the most inspiring things I've read on here. You told us about how you'd pulled yourself out of a dark place, got your life back on track, and built up your business. I wish I could find that thread and post it now, because it really made me think. About life, about what matters, and about what doesn't. I know it's hard, really hard, at the moment, but please try to focus on the positives - family, friends, relationships. The things that define us. The things that keep us safe and strong. It may not count for much, but you are one of my favourite posters. Keep the music going, mate, and keep your chin up.
Is anybody able to contact him and make sure that he is ok? Admin maybe? @Gally @andytyke @Hicksy @fired
The only method we have is via e mail. If anyone knows JP personally, that would be the best approach.
JP you were one of the first to private message me on here and we had a good chat. I think you're a top person. You're one of my favourite posters and I like our little back and forwards with music lyrics on music threads. Please don't do anything rash mate.
Must be someone on here who knows him? He’s a DJ isn’t he? Worrying posts though, hope he’s ok. As others have said, an interesting poster on here.
It’s looks bad now JP but it will pass and you’ll come out of it . DJs will still be needed when this is over . The mortgage industry is being looked at by govt as there’s millions in the same boat , your house won’t be repossessed a package will be sorted . I know it’s not much comfort but in a few months time this pandemic will be looked back on as a blip. People will want the good times again after months of misery and the first thing that will thrive is the entertainments industry , Imo your buisness will come back bigger and stronger than ever before . Hang on in there JP keep the faith ride the storm rally round your family the good times aren’t far away .
John I don’t know you but please take care and not do anything rash. We all need each other and more importantly we need honest people like yourself to one day help us rid this country of the right wing fascist scum which is in power atm. Lots of very supportive messages being posted. Please talk to some of those who have offered support. Take care mate.
John - from you profile page I see you're viewing this site at this very moment - give us a message and let us know how you're doing.
Hello everyone. Not surprising to say I'm not good. Andy sent me an email. I'm feeling all your support. Life's coping mechanisms have broken down, but all the messages mean the world. There are some great people on this board. I thank you all.
Hi buddy glad you are still here. I hit a very dark place just after Christmas. People on here were great. Samaritans were great. Reach out to friends for support. It does get better, even though I was totally convinced it wouldn't.
Very happy to hear from you. It's very difficult, but we will all get through this. The saving grace in all this is that this is a global event. It's not the same as, for example, getting laid off normally. Governments and banks will have absolutely no choice but to assist.
JP. Please feel the concern on here for you now. We've all got to stick together and see this **** through. Easier for some than for others but please don't do owt daft. Just think, if you want to feel really miserable take a look at the Championship table, it doesn't look any better for the rest of us .... and it's not over yet !!
Take it a day at time JP.were all in this together When this is done you’ll have bookings coming out of your arse as people will party like its 1999.
I'm in the same situation JP. We are on the brink of laying 15 staff off and that will include myself and my wife but desperately waiting to see if the chancellor will offer us something. It's **** mate there's no getting away from it but were still here and still fighting. Hang in there things will get better.
