    Wow, I thought they'd wrecked the appearance of the old Draycotts Bar when they put those inexplicable tiles on the outside, but what the hell have they done now?? Some distressed timber either side of the door, and an even more inexplicable huge fake brass street lamp above it. Another fine old Barnsley building ruined by some numpty who has probably watched too many naff home refurbishment programmes on Dave.

    i thought it was still being stripped back. didn't realise that was the design. bad bad time to be opening a new boozer...

    To be fair, it was a mess before this recent work. They’ve been working on the interior for months.

    It still is. Fired wasn’t referring to the Shambles pub she was giving her opinion on the exterior of the new Draycotts pub
