    Some customers have taken to accusing my co-workers and myself of storing stuff in the back rather than putting it on the shelves. Its starting to get mighty hard to smile and apologise to some of these people..

    I’ve tried Tesco Asda and Lidl the last 2 days for some chicken breasts to make a curry with this week, just 1 pack is all I need, none on the shelf at all -where are people putting it all?

    Aldi at Birdwell today only had steak,bacon and gammon in the meat section. No bread and very little tinned stuff. They were restocking the shelves as quick as they could. 4 item limit on everything and one couple had filled a trolley with 4 of everything they could lay their hands on (including gin ;) ). Tesco at Hoyland was the same (I was after some chicken too and had to buy a cooked one as that's all they had). Heard the lass on the checkout saying the shelves were full when they opened and customers were queuing at 7am and had stripped the....they had a delivery out back but were still trying to get it out !

    Four 4 packs allowed.....main thing I went in for :)

    They were taking items off people at the till if they had more than 4......including someone who must have tried buying 6 bottles of washing up liquid (as there were 2 on the side) .....why???o_O

    BTW, Germans call stockpiling "Hamster shopping :D"

    We are shopping for three households, so these limits are making things even more difficult. We thought we were being restrained at Tesco putting 4 tins of soup in the trolley, only to find 2 of them had to be confiscated at the checkout.
