Yeah its hard to see but the more you think about it logistically it's the easiest solution in many ways. Draw a line under everything and just start again. But I wouldn't be surprised if that did happen to see some legal fallout!
Can’t imagine PL agreeing to the extra fixtures though, especially top teams who already complain about fixture congestion.
It's only 4 extra rounds of games, let the prem clubs into the cups a round later or cancel the league cup for a year
Not disagreeing, just saying you hear every year the top teams moaning about lack of support for teams in Europe because of fixtures etc. Would think it would make more sense to cancel a couple of International breaks(friendlies) tbh.
Impossible to know what the right thing to do is, if anything can be considered the right thing. For all we know our approach and differing approaches of other country's may lead to the same sort of death rates in the end. All we can do is put ourselves in the hands of the experts. If anyone wants to be extra cautious beyond that level I think that is perfectly reasonable choice too.
It is proven statistically that the incidents of heart attacks rises on a Saturday evening in areas where the local team loses. If the health service is already under strain, then just reducing that number will help while it can recover.
Thats ****** anyway. Liverpool stopped whinging about Shrewsbury cup replay when Shrews pointed out they'd actually played more games than the Scousers. With a fraction of their squad resources.
