Yes you are correct but a Barnsley fan supporting Leeds no matter what division they're in, can't b reight.
Guess it will be... Houses or maybe a supermarket... Or even both... Eventually.. I dont trust this set of owners as far as I can ****... Woe betide Barnsley Council should they sell them their share of oakwell.. My opinion
We need something to smile about, even if it is at the bottom end of the humor ladder at least it matches our league position - boom boom
People like drive and ambition. I can see why people would jump ship and watch Sheff Utd or Leeds in the Premier League. It wouldn't be my choice but I can see why it happens.
Or The Barnsley All Stars, bring back the Shaw Carpets kit, with a slight amendment in design to incorporate the Star Spangled Banner. Could work?
It's just a sunny uplands-type utopian dream at this stage, like a fine day on the prairie in Alabama.
Might work, but we'd HAVE to have lots of scantily clad cheerleaders cavorting about in front of where I sit....just to make sure they don't spoil anybody else's view. I'm so thoughtful of our other fans me......
Yes I believe they were the Wakefield Wildcats cheerleaders, I remember complaining to my son that their dancing and jigging up and down was cutting the pitch up and they should be banned! "Grumpy git" was his studied reply
I agree but after two relegations in three years it's getting harder to keep the faith in BFC. I wI'll probably renew my season ticket again cos I don't want to let my hometown club down ,its a pity the owners don't feel the same. I've been watching the reds since 1968 bur being relegated is the worst feeling.
Stuff watching leeds, good luck to them in the premier league though. Wouldn’t imagine my life any different than sitting at oakwell moaning about it everything but deep down I love it thats wy I continue to go
Get my name back o thi list, just thought id be a dick and say it for a reaction, not as bad a reaction than I was expecting. C.O.Y.R. SORRY.
That's why I was reserved in my response. I aired on the side of caution and tried to be as magnanimous as I could
Any other serious suggestions as something needs to change?[/QUOTE] 1. The production of a Fan Charter articulating the owners plans for for the medium term future (say for 3 years), a statement of intent about the relationship with fans and a set of supporting detailed statements that articulate their commitments as guardians of the club 2. CEO update page in each programme and on bfc.co.uk 3. One of the owners writes a feature about progress and future plans each month and on bfc.co.uk 4. Questions gathered by the Supporters Trust monthly answered in the programme and on bfc.co.uk 5. Quarterly face to face Q&A sessions 6. Reduce Season Ticket prices for the 20/21 season to £100 (in recognition of the shortcomings in 19/20, the owners funding the shortfall in income) I realise I may some may think these unrealistic but something as wide-ranging as this is required if the fractured relationship with some fans is to be repaired and trust regained.
