Daniel has a few more supporters there after a big away local derby victory. His record doesn't look too bad either......
A class manager and a top bloke! Gutted we threw away our chance to carry on doing something special under him. I honestly think he could have had us challenging for the playoffs if the board had backed him
Agreed Helen - but cest la vie and all that. Back Struber and I think we can still achieve similar things. I always think though that the board seems to have finally seen sense with the Sollbauer signing - but for Daniel it was too little too late... Anyway #COYR.... In Struber we trust.....
Dont get me wrong, Struber is doing just fine BUT I'm not as convinced we ll get as far under him as I was with Stendel.
He appears to have identified the problem, (popular journeymen having a bit of a payday) got rid, took the flak and got the team moving in the right direction,, what a manager.
I wish him nothing but the best. I wouldn't mind going to one of their matches if we're not playing some day.
Owner should take some credit too to back him, would have been easy when he first started and kept losng to side with popular players
Ex manager is still.employed by the club so that cant be easy too. He's had a lot to contend with but shown he can cope. Think he could go on to manage a top tier club, especially as his English improves.
Certainly has the personality for it although TBH not sure if he is tactically adept enough, but he is young in management terms so that can come with time.
He calls Tynecastle " our castle". I would imagine he ll be thinking Europe if they stay up and he can get some more of his sort of players in. Not an easy task for him but nor was our season last year. It will be interesting to see what happens career wise.
Massive game for em on the 11/4/20 Scottish fa cup semi. v HIBS. Win that and he'll be lauded anywhere he goes in Edinburgh. By one half of the city anyway.
He'll be thinking "Job Centre" if they don't stay up. He's competing down there at the bottom of the Scottish Prem with teams with ridiculously low budgets. Hamilton's home crowd is less than 3000. 6 other teams attract less than 6000. Hearts are over 15000. He only needs to finish above one other team. Once he gets this season out of the way, he can kick on from there.
