Still suspended? Injured? Tested again? Failed a test again? Not selected? Who knows. At least Chien will tweet next time we win.
Well it is taking a long time to sort out. To me it looks like this season is over if not his future at the reds but time will tell.
I'm sure the club will let the customers and clients know soon enough through their excellent lines of communication.
Is there really any need for an update if the last update still applies? Or do you want them to just release the same statement again?
Well he's now missed 10 games whilst under investigation - 2 of those when we were told he was "injured". So a little communication would be nice. But I'm sure we'll hear from Mr Conway or Mr Murphy next time they try to buy East Fife.
You do understand it is an FA investigation not a club investigation, the player and club are cooperating with the FA so it is the FA that are in charge of time scales and updates not the club
And it is the club's job to communicate with its customers. Even if it's just a little comment from Struber in a pre match presser.
There are lots of things that the club are doing wrong that we should rightly be airing our grievances at. Complaining about every little thing, things beyond the clubs control, reduces the impact and validity of those genuine complaints.
They all add up though. If we had owners who actually were bothered about the fans then there wouldn't be issues with little things like this. As it stands, it's just another thing to add to the list.
If it’s an FA investigation they should be ashamed of themselves! We’ve had a transfer window since this started and we have a player on the books that we can’t use and can’t replace until we know the outcome. At the same time Wednesday and Derby drift towards safety while we struggle to survive. Letting it drag on like this is not good for the club, or the player and keeps the fans in the dark. I wonder whether he’s being paid during his suspension?
The FA haven't suspended him unless I missed that statement. So it appears ourselves are choosing not to play him either because he's not in the right frame of mind or we are treating him as guilty until proven innocent.
I dare say I wouldn't be in the right frame of mind either if I was 22 years old, in a foreign country and faced losing my livelihood.
Agreed. Don't think anyone is blaming the player. But the last 3 or 4 posts show what a lack of communication does. Some think the FA has suspended him. Some think it's us. Then Diaby himself gets the thin end of the wedge. Communication.
According to the FA anti doping policy once the player and officials have been informed of an abnormal result a mandatory provisional suspension is imposed so I would say the FA have suspended him
Where's that from? The fa rules that I read said that they COULD impose a suspension if they deemed it suitable during an investigation. The fact that he isn't listed on the fa suspension list would suggest he isn't serving an fa suspension. And the fact that we're having to guess and work it out between ourselves 10 games after he disappeared from the squad once again shows a shocking lack of communication from the club.
