Sorry folks no Fan Zone tomorrow due to Storm Dennis, high winds and rain. Just so we don't repeat the same arguments please see http://barnsleyfc.org.uk/threads/fan-zone-closed-tomorrow.288452/
https://www.metoffice.gov.uk/weather/forecast/gcwbwkgt7#?date=2020-02-22 Not much rain at all tomorrow and it is showing dry before, during and after the game.
I think Dennis has gone - this is" The storm with no name" - just need a soundtrack by Ennio Morricone and we are all set
This is still Redfearn's Bar? We also cater for around 400% more people when the weather is ok. Rough with the smooth I guess, no?
Boooooo bloody foreign owners can’t even get weather reyt!!! Am not going next season nar......the can shove it
I know you've said in the past that permanent structures would mean a different license would be needed or something like that anyway but any idea if that would be the case for canopies like the picture below if the bars themselves were still temporary like how you have now?
Have you ever been to the FanZone? Our setup is way more wind and weather protected than this! We have two of those jumbrellas but then all the other gazebos are significantly higher and come with completed panels so you're enclosed. It can cope with rain for about 200 people but not with 45mph winds.
I've not been in it but I have seen it and it looks like a great starting point (and always rammed). I was just wondering whether that would be allowed as the ones I've just been looking at were bolted into the floor and rated for ridiculously high winds and could be placed side by side to create a large covered area and had sides that could be connected too. I thought that if it was allowed then maybe for the future a load of those joined together so you could open it every game and then whenever possible attach the sides to make it more comfortable like you do now. Like I said no idea if it's allowed under the current licence thing or if it would work but it looked like an interesting idea at least?
