I have no criticism on yesterday’s performance and I was delighted and surprised in equal measure at how well they played and how comfortable, in the main, they found the game.

However I wasn’t comfortable that they’d got the game won until after 85 minutes, and we’ve seen far too many times this season that we don’t look to have a side capable of going on a run of wins.

I was wrong about their prospects at fulham so I hope I’m also wrong about their capability to go on a run, however the position still looks very tough to get out of.

What I will say is that if there are even just a few performances close to that level for the rest of the season, opinion will change on the quality of some of the players. Though not the ownership.

I can’t pretend I’m optimistic for the rest of the season, we are still quite a way behind and those above us aren’t all in woeful form themselves, but I am hopeful they’ll pick up some results at least.

Difficult to get carried away when looking at the table...but just enjoying a good solid performance with the right result. Looking at the next few fixtures, if we get stuck in and give it a go - who knows?

We've won 6 games all season. Why would anyone be getting carried away..

I don't want to be pessimistic but we have beaten Fulham twice now and look what happened after the first win. I'll start to get carried away if we draw level on points with the teams currently above the drop zone.

We have some winnable games coming up that could save us. I'm keeping my optimism bottled for now.
