It's the best we've looked in midfield all season.

Also, can we please stop saying Woodrow is out of position? Watch any game from last season. He came back into midfield more than he was up top. This is his natural position. We've built this team around him and his position.

Struber asking the left footed Styles to do what the left footed Thomas couldn't do.

I couldn't disagree more. Woodrow is left to take pot shots from distance - luckily he can't half bang them in so every now and again one goes in.

But I can't remember the last time he was inside the 6 yard box, never mind scored a tap in - he's the best finisher at the club. He shouldn't be coming deep because he's not seen the ball for twenty minutes.

Just go back and watch any game from last season and see where he was, positioning wise. Especially after Moore got injured.

Add jordan williams to that list now at left back. Talk about square pegs in round holes

His 'natural position' is one that doesn't exist. He's always been a deep striker, so now we've got him where he always has been, but with 2 players ahead of him.

Hasn't he scored three in three?

The goal against Charlton wasn't exactly a position he wouldn't have found himself in last season or earlier this one, and he should have buried the one from ten yards that hit the bar. I like him there because he's overall our best footballer and he loves to drop deep anyway, but this allows us to have players in front of him or out wide.

I'm glad someone sees it the same as me. Thought I was going mad.

I'm not the only one that saw him playing in midfield last season, when he was meant to be a lone striker, am I?

But the frustrating thing is he's our most clinical/best finisher at the club. Its not as if he's very creative in the position he's currently in, just has a really good long shot on him.

He's the best finisher at the club. Everything we do should be geared towards getting him the ball where he can be most dangerous, instead of making him the tip of the Precious Diamond because he's only bloke in the squad remotely capable of doing it.

And the criticism levelled at the club last year was that he was isolated up front on his own after Moore's injury - so Christ knows what games you were watching. Or did we play 4-6-last year?

A poor manager is one who rigidly puts square pegs in round holes to stubbornly play the only way he knows.

A half decent cross from Ludewig there to the near post - our number 9 wasn't even in the 18 yard box.

Its just so Barnsley isn't it. Best window ever, two of our more expensive signings are wingers. Get a new coach in who doesn't play with wide men at all.

24 minutes into the second half and Woodrow has touched the ball a grand total of zero times in their box.

In a game we need to win.

Another great cross from the right - straight across the 6 yard box.

Our number 9 nowhere to be seen.

All 3 subs used - and still the Diamond is in tact.

    Great stuff.

Oh and still no touches in the box for Woodrow this half.
