Mowatt looks far more accomplished in the defensive midfield role than any other player this season. He's a much better player than the rest so I guess it makes sense to put your best player in one of the problem positions. Some method in the madness.

Andersen isn't good enough at the moment. He's actually nowhere near. Needs taking out of the side but not sure anyone else is any better.

We've got another goal in us. We're also capable of gifting one to them. Same as ever I suppose.

Agree, not unhappy with our performance so far SW look nervy when we attack which is nice.

100% agree with regards Anderson, he’s totally out of his depth at the moment, hopefully I’m wrong but I’ve seen nothing in the lads game to suggest he’s going to improve.

We don't lack quality upfront, we lack diversity of options. No physicality.

Played well today but it's quite soul destroying the fact that we have to be at the top of our game to get a point against a team who didn't play particularly well today. Manager is doing all he can as are the players, however, we just don't seem good enough for this level. Impressed with simoes today and think he deserves to start next match. Would also start styles. Thomas and Andersen need dropping in my opinion. Also good to see Bahre come on and show some composure of the ball, which we seem to lack at times. Positives to take, but i think sadly we just don't have enough quality.

Can't fault effort or the performances. Thought taking Chaplin off was a wasted substitution. Simoes, who was knackered, for Bahre was all that was required. Ended up having to bring Schmidt on and, once again, voluntarily going down to ten men. He touched the ball once and gave it away. Which was one more touch than usual.

Don't think we're capable of giving more than that. Played well, gave everything we're just a little bit short.

Did you think we gifted them a goal today?

Was a ricochet. I'd say unfortunate but could have been stronger in the build up.

Agree about anderson does some good things but is a liability, it was a joke when running side by side with conor wickham and couldnt get the ball off him and wednesday almost scored.

Andersen played well, apart from his customary howler or two. Which usually happens when he's given time to think about what he's doing.

Our other centre back Solbauer did him no favours by refusing for the most part to do anything but play it sideways for Andersen to distribute..

Plus Sollbauer won nothing against Wickham first half.

So it seems to me unfair to pick on him. Today.

Thought Wednesday were poor and we weren't bad, but not great, Struber says it was a step in in the right direction, I agree. Be a decent point today if we win on Tuesday.. 4 points from 6 wont be too bad, but need to beat Brum, no excuses..

I’m shocked the read that about Sollbauer as I thought he won a lot today and played well. Even that run/dribble at the end in their box!

I agree about his constant passing to Andersen though.

Summing up what I saw in bullet points:

    • Plenty of effort.
    • Competed all over the pitch.
    • Caused their defence to flap at times, but failed to exploit enough.
    • Poor set pieces and service into the box.

Was you watching the same game as me. I thought sollbauer won a fair few headers against Wickham. I thought he was the better of to two in this game

I was praying for someone to bring Sollbauer down in the area. Not once, not twice, but three times.

He was alot better second half. And he was the last off the pitch, which endeared him to me.
