Rather we just didn't play Thomas. Been very underwhelming this season. Works hard but looks lost for ideas whenever he gets with 30 yards of goal. Brown missed chances today but he's contributed far more than Thomas this season.
Championship defences are maybe a step too far for him which is probably why he struggled early on but yeah it seems bizarre to play our most one footed player on the wrong side, at least if he was on the left he'd be able to potentially cross or shoot.
What stats are they? 1 a piece on goals but Brown has 8 assists to Thomas’ 3. I’m talking league games here of course.
And who wouldn’t !?!?! I’ve been saying for weeks that Mowatt is giving a lot but providing very little. Clearly Struber is seeing what I’m seeing.
Play Brown where Thomas plays more like. We can't do without his assists. Get a big guy in to play alongside Chaplin. Keep Woodrow at the attacking point of the diamond.
