The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result.

I actually thought Collins was poor today despite not having any saves to make. Maybe I'm being harsh, but he didn't look comfortable at any point. From memory there was a couple of dropped catches in the box that he collected at the second attempt, the cross he punched up in the air back towards goal, the time when he punched for no reason, the mad 30 yard dash from goal where he nearly clattered Williams and was miles away from the ball, and I'm not fully convinced on his part in the goal.

But in his defence it must be hard coming in at relatively short notice knowing the pressure you're under to perform, and I really rate him as a keeper.

Insanity was rolling ball out to a defender with seconds to go SURELY . What’s sane when your a goal down with seconds to go to toll it to a defender on edge of your box .
Your term on insanity doesn’t comply at all , nobody’s saying do it all game . Even if ball had have gone straight to their keeper it was a better bet than that surely .
As SD said it at least showed passion and willingness .

I don’t think anybody’s criticising his performance Tbh it’s just frustrating as a fan what he did last off . Just what was the point ?
Not saying it cost us the game or if he’d pumped it up it would have given anything it was the naivety when everyone wanted a pump up the field , rolling it to a defender at that stage is a team that’s winning tactic imo .

Silly decision to make and not the time to lack urgency. We don't have the players to play out comfortably from the back and I can't think of a goal we've scored because of our keeper playing a square ball across our six yard box.

We hadn’t time to play out from the back that’s the point.

No improvement over radlinger. Neither commands their six yard box let alone their area. Obvious to me defence have no conidence in either , but hey, opinions. Pay Aldi prices get aldi peppers (I did last week and they rotted after two days)

So pumping the ball up to Chaplin or Brown. Worked out well the rest of the game? I understand the point towards the end of the game but be realistic it would have made no difference. Perhaps think why didn’t Thomas take his chance etc

I wasn't talking about what other people were saying about Collins, I was just using the thread to say he didn't fill me with confidence today and I'm not sure he played that well.
