Maybe if the remainers didn't constantly block the result of the initial referendum and May didn't dither like she did (probably due to been a remainer herself prior to becoming PM) the cost would have been considerably less

Remind me again which way Mogg, the ERG, Johnson and more leavers voted when May put her deal before the House.

Remain have never held it up....leave have.

Because that wasn't brexit apparently. Now we have Boris brexit which is basically the same so far just with a few things removed to make things a bit worse.

People can have different opinions about brexit but stop blaming others (remainers) for your preferred outcome (leaving) - OWN it! Otherwise you’re turning into BoJo - May HAD a majority but the ERG nutters (Mogg, Davies, Francois, Johnson, Rabb etc) blocked her! Own stuff for once!

And maybe if the Tories had have had a modicum of sense they would have included Kier Starmer and Vince Cable in the negotiating team and settled things within 6 months. Remember the referendum was a free vote, the Tories politicised it on party lines. That's what delayed things and cost Labour seats in the election.

Loving all these blame comments, kettle pot black springs to mind, to read some on here the Tories are to blame for everything that's wrong or gone wrong in this country since William the conqueror popped up in Hastings and said I fancy a bit of this country but hay ho your only allowed to blame if you voted remain, si thi

I honestly do believe what it says on buses, so I'm really looking forward to Boris's bus distributing that £350 million a week to the NHS and the poor and needy
