    Bless them... bags of talent but he comes across as he doesn’t care at all. Shame, he could’ve been a cracking player at this level if his commitment was there. Just didn’t seem to want it.

    Maybe a new club and a fresh start is what it needs, I certainly wouldn’t object to him leaving this window.

    Great player for that league, such a shame he switches off at critical moments otherwise he'd be first choice in the championship.

    unfortunately has the concentration span of my four year old, which can’t be tolerated at this level.....as it usually results in a goal.

    He is just not a defender. He is a powerful player going forward with an excellent cross. We should be using him in this role off the bench. I would prefer him on our bench to Thiam every time.

    He was the player that worried defences in league 1so it doesn't surprise me Portsmouth might want him. Better for him to be playing though so good luck to him. I just hope if they make it to the championship that they don't come in for Chaplin!

    Did you miss woodrows goal away at west brom this season great run and cross from cavare and woodrow header. No coincidence he got the most assists for us than any other defender last season. His weakness is switching off but a decent signing for pompey if it happens.

    Going forward he must be one of the scariest players to face he has been let down by the lack of cover by other defenders when he does go forward.
