    The new composite ones are better than wood. Available in many colours, don’t rot, strong and safe, multi point locking, etc...

    Nothing’s better than wood for appearance imo. I can see the ‘plastics’ are improving in appearance but they’re not for me.

    Just read back the whole of this thread. What has life become!!
