    It was absolutely stunning. Scary, gory, funny in places. The Count played with just the right amount of camp. TV highlight of the last year for me. Hope the rest of it is as good.

    I also liked the Beeb's version of A Christmas Carol.

    I thought it sucked - it was all a bit familiar, never felt like there was anything at stake and more clichés than I could count, it was driving me batty. I think it would have worked better if it had been produced as a wireless drama, tha knows for R2 or something.
