Obviously this is ********, it's made up, but having been to Australia half a dozen times in the last few years, the land that is currently on fire, the first country to suffer so severely from the effects of climate change, and simultaneously has the worst record of any country in addressing the causes of climate change, I'm not sure we can attribute common sense to anything they say or do. They are literally killing themselves with every policy they are pushing through parliament. Not their grandchildren like the rest of the world. Themselves. They are dying right now. Today. And there is no sign of them changing. So, as far as stupid things to post goes, this is first class.
I read somewhere recently that 9 of the 10 warmest Australian summers on record have been since 2005. Staggering when you think about it.
I consider myself an intelligent person, I’ve re-read this “definition” several times and have concluded it makes no sense on any level. As with most of these things I’m guessing it’s not even real anyway. It’s probably just from Reddit or the favourite hideout for racists loners 4chan.
I just don't get anti PC attitudes. Is it just arseholes who like to be able to insult whole groups of people? The sort who probably get outraged at the word 'gammon'
As per another post, I tried looking for this story and found nothing to back up its apparent source. The earliest mention I can find of it is 2011. I suspect it's one of those right wing stories that just isn't true, but makes its way round the net because it makes some people think their views aren't as racist/stupid as they think they are.
It’s mainly because of the extreme PC values that are reported. The number of things that are supposed to offend nowadays is beyond a joke. This in turn fuels more anti PC attitude.
