If he used the Dartford crossing though, make sure he pays the Dart Charge.

Congestion charge doesn't apply on weekends, should be safe.

Mind you, if he has an old(ish) car, it could be subject to the ULEZ, which is the Ultra Low Emission Zone brought in by Sadiq Khan.

There is a ultra low emission charge in place for central London. Google ULEZ

You need to check on the Transport for London website. If you put your vehicle reg in it will tell you if you are exempt from the ULEZ. I drive an 06 plate Focus and it is exempt.

Did your car have four wheels? If so it's subject to the London Four Wheeled Vehicle Tax brought in by Ken Livingstone.

Not forgetting the London Vehicles Operated By Steering Wheel Tax introduced by Boris Johnson.

Definitely true, that one, cos I read it on Facebook.

I got charged when we played Cardiff in semi years ago as that game was Sunday. We stopped over and I was charged for the Monday.

I didn’t realise I’d still get charged for already being in it and driving out of London. think the charge had gone up a couple of times from the original amount by the time I paid it.
