Cutting through all the crap posted on here since Stendel separated from us, it seems to me that it is prudent to remember 2 things and not much more: 1. The youth policy persists. 2. We will balance the books. We shall stand and probably fall by these principles. But maybe not..... Let's try and start just supporting the team eh?
Always supported the team, they've not lacked effort or application this season. Looking forward to celebrating 3 goals again at fortress Oakwell!
When did most fans stop supporting the team? Our support has held up pretty well considering the circumstances. I have major concerns about our owners and the way they are running the club but I still support the team. These two things are entirely different in my mind. I think our team, as a whole, is nowhere near championship quality at the minute and I will criticise them on here but at the game I turn up and support them.
I don't know anybody who's stopped supporting the young lads on the pitch, and indeed the lads and lasses in the dugout. The massive problems at the club lie elsewhere.
I said start "just" supporting the team. In other words, put the rest of the ******** on here to one side. Plus if you haven't seen all the additional ******** on here about those not renewing their season tickets, or those telling everyone that they aren't going to turn up anymore, then what have you been reading on here? They are entitled to do this of course. But then again they do constitute those "who's stopped supporting". Though I suspect it's all ********. Let's try and start just supporting the team eh?
I said I don't know anyone, not that they don't exist, but maybe I'm being too pedantic? For my part, I drove 430 miles to Cardiff and back on Saturday to watch our last minute defeat. I'll be there tomorrow night and on Saturday, unless I've been separated from my season ticket. I will support this team to the end, but that doesn't change my opinion of the board/owners. I think (in case you haven't noticed) that they haven't a clue, they're incompetent, and I hope they sell up and leave. I don't understand the people who support them, as the evidence of their ineptitude is all too visible in position 24 in the league table, effectively 9 points from safety. I do however accept that not all fans think like me. It's no good asking me to "get over it" or "move on". I'm not going to, but I will wait until February 1st to see what happens.
Who isn't supporting the team? If you want to support the shambles that oversees that, it's your poor judgement not ours.
