Is poaching the same as tapping up? I'll ask my missus for tapped up egg on toast tomorrow, see what I get.
Fantastic season last year and I thank him for his contribution to that however, he’s not our manager anymore so good luck to him unless he comes up against us but my affiliation to him is over. As for the board, they seem to have done and said what they could, when they could. Time to move on
I’m inclined to agree, which is why our statement, actually statements are more confusing than they needed be we’ve never said sacked, we’ve not actually clarified anything. Hearts obviously believe he is not under any form of contract
Another thought (before I get back to Wednesday's match). Don't the FA have any records on manager appointments or do they only bother with player registrations?
Many people are claiming everything has now been clarified. My opinion is that the statement and particularly the subsequent interview (well done the Radio Sheffield interviewer BTW, that was an excellent bit of work) have provided far more questions than answers. There are also numerous inconsistencies in Paul Conway's account and I don't find him credible. Others do, that is a personal opinion, but I'm struggling to understand why.
Didn't we say we'd "separated" from him? If we put that in our own open press release I don't know how we could later day that he's still on the payroll. Maybe if he'd been "removed from his duties as first team coach" or summat like that that was a bit less conclusive...
