I guess you mean the four players who didn't want to stay with us and who didnt have championship experience?
I don't think the board would have posted such a statement if it wasn't true.If it is false Daniel can now challenge it now its in the public domain. The plan is what it is and I and most supporters knew this when we got our season tickets. The chairman says we may tweak the plan going forward. As long as its not a Leroy Lita,Treacy or Matt Mills I'm fine with that.
Dane said he personally felt uncomfortable with the statement but the wording was set entirely on legal advice and the club chose to follow that advice to the letter. The same advice would mean the club could not comment further until the issue is resolved.
I guess if that includes Moore, Davies, Lindsay and Pinnock who all played in the championship then yes I do.
I'm not saying that what they have claimed in their statement isn't factual, what I am saying is that it only tells one side of the story. I want to hear what Daniel has to say about the statement and his reasoning for what happened.
At the meeting though Stendel was still on our payroll now hes not.Like I say its only guess work on my part. Footballs nearly as bent as wrestling.
apologies.....I meant to say that they had limited champ experience. they didn't want to stay anyway.
But is he likely to want to say anything? I guess he will want to put it behind him and get on with the new job. Folk will of course say he’s been gagged. Might have to wait for a book to come out.
Well hes got his chance now its in the open.I'll be glad when this whole saga is done with and we can focus on the challenge ahead.
This has got nothing to do with the recruitment process which we all know has be garbage and will more than likely see the club relegated. Its about all the fans screaming for the board to be sacked over a head coach who it turns out looks like he was trying to find a way out and was doing so under handedly. All those fans and there is a bloody lot have egg on their faces but will try and deflect away from it by going on about transfers for the billionth time!!
Maybe, but there has been no reference in either the latest statement or Conway's interview that the original statement and subsequent silence had anything to do with legal ramifications. The line is as simple and clear as can be: they acted the way they did as they respected the work done the previous season. And at the meeting it was as simple and clear as can be: legal reasons. My personal point of view is that if it was out of respect for Stendel they don't appear to be showing a lot right now.
