I've never seen the attraction with him since he came. Gets pulled all over, ball watches and often relies on his pace to make up for both.
He got mugged for their first, didn’t see the rest. Got to agree though, he needs dropping for a bit just to regain his focus. That would mean dropping Halme back and putting Dougall in, or leaving Halme and bringing in Sam Fielding. I don’t fancy Sibbick yet - good player in their somewhere, but it’s too much too soon for him.
He's got the raw ingredients: he's big and strong and fast. And he's a huge character out on the pitch, constantly offering vocal support to his team mates. But at the moment he's no idea how to play in a defensive unit. He doesn't know where to stand, he doesn't know when to track a player and when to keep his position. He's got no discipline, he's either chasing the ball like a 5 year old chases a balloon or he's diving in on the half way line. He shouldn't be anywhere near the first team. He's a great prospect but he's not a football league standard player right now. He's a lot of learning to do in training and should be introduced when we have an experienced centre half who can guide him through games. Or we could stop pushing our full backs so high up the pitch and play him at right back.
That's what worries me. It seems that he's Ben signed and is being played purely because of his physical measurements rather than on his ability as a footballer.
