There's often a knee jerk reaction. There are plenty of fans that I know that weren't fussed about Stendel going if it gave us a chance of picking up some results.
Very good documentary that, loved KP as a player for England but it was nice to watch a documentary that tackled his controversies in his career and showed his fallible character. Made it 10 times better than if it was just a love in.

100% correct. I wasn't happy at the way it was dealt with. ( But also don't know why it was handled that way) But worse things happen at sea. Being involved with a supporters group, friends and family of which there are plenty. I can genuinely state 99% weren't fussed. Or indeed said his time was up. Results far more important than the manager. Irrespective of what players he had got to work with.
But they arent saying **** all. They are saying **** all to the people of Barnsley but everything to the people of Scotland and not a single person has given single reason why that is acceptable.
Your supporters group, friends and family seem really out of touch with every single Barnsley fan I know other than a small few on here who are so far up Conway's arse that it's hard to tell where he ends and they begin. And no I don't mean you if it comes across that way.
That's my experience too, to be fair. The fans around me in the ground, and those I bump into at away matches, do not support the people in charge at all. Most want them out. Since it happened I've yet to speak to a single fan who's backing the owners. Not one. The only voices I've heard in favour of them have been on here.
And it's been the same voices such as wakeyred who has been singing their praises one blind to their actions since day one
My reply wasn't about the board. It was about the fact that they weren't as emotionally involved over the departure of Stendel.( I was gutted John Hendrie wasn't given more time. But accepted the decision made and didn't dwell on it) I Didn't mention their views on the board. As that was not part of the post and my response. Maybe that makes it a bit clearer.
I think it wouldnt have been dwelled on so much if 1) he'd been thanked 2) he' d have been backed by the owners more in terms of getting him some experience 3) he'd been allowed to get on with his next managerial role without it all playing out in the media.
