So when we last had one we missed it against Bristol City on October 29th 2016. After that we had another 33 games until the end of that season. In the 2017-18 season we played 50 games. Last season when we were thrashing teams on the way to promotion we didn't get given a penalty in 54 matches. This season we have already played twenty games. It's quite astounding that we've not had a penalty awarded to us in 157 consecutive games!!!
It's an incredible stat, quite unbelievable really. And how many have been awarded against us in the same period?
Yeah I was at the match. I thought automatic promotion wasn't happening after that result. The only goal we scored past Brad Collins in three hours of football last season. I should have said championship.
Home games AND only home championship games which obviously rules out the three we had at home last season. We had one at home in February this year
We had three last season. Stats are here: https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/league-one/topErhalteneElfmeter/wettbewerb/GB3/plus/?saison_id=2018
In terms of penalties at home in the league we incredibly went 672 days between the one Winnall missed against Bristol City and the one Kieffer scored against Gillingham on 1 September 2018. We have had one more since then which Cauley scored on February 16 this year. Two home league penalties in 1138 days!!!! During that time we have also had 60 stonewallers not given and 232 more that any other team would have got given against us
The Brexit Party just said we haven't had a penalty at home since 1937. When we kick out the foreigners, Farage has promised we'll be allocated the immigrants' penalties. I've not done any fact-checking, but I already know I'm voting for my Brexit Party candidate.
