Because even when we made a mistake we had some shape so it was covered. Still wouldn't bet on a victory like, but can't fault that first half performance.
Its just a shame we dont have anyone in the team who can cross the ball or beat a man, wev been in some good positions but ultimately the ball is poor or we get stopped in our tracks
Agreed, was seriously considering not going today but fair play to the players. Hope we can keep it going second half.
We are playing well. But how bad have Hull been? Woeful. I just fear the inevitable defensive brainfart will let them back in it
Should have been then - Ben Williams played him onside when he could and should have been yards off, and a poor miss from the cutback. We deserve to win today but we are still so poor defensively it’s scary.
I only see bits and bobs and read what's on here, but it seems we've played well against many good teams, only to shoot ourselves in the foot, rather than being outplayed. Highly frustrating, but it's perhaps easier to be optimistic than it would be if we were simply being outclassed each week. Let's hope it's a corner turned on mistakes front, rather than a pleasant blip!
