If we were to sign 4 players in jan, where do people think our priority is to improve?

Surely just about everyone will say defence.
I’d go for 2 defenders, 1 (yes I’m gunna say it) EXPERIENCED midfielder and a striker. Halme has shown some signs of potential but the others we have are no where near ready for championship. The 2 defenders need to be championship quality.

Anyone think of any realistic targets?

If we sign 4 players I would say 5 of them should be defenders.

Right back, central defender, target man. Experienced.

However, it depends who moves on. The squad is ridiculously huge, the club are paying wages to loads of players who spend their game time shopping or relaxing at home. It's a mind numbing shambles of a situation. I had a message last night from a friend, after I'd asked her opinion of what we should do in January. It was 3 words "Club is f***ed".

We need a new back four in January. Problem is our squad size is so bloated that if we were to sign say five players we would probably need to look to getting shut of 8 or 9.

Squad size is too big, but we will obviously sell Woodrow, mowatt maybe Dougall in jan.

Am I the only one who thinks it's an absolute disgrace that our squad players aren't made to watch all games in order to learn?

If Malik wilks had been there yesterday he would have seen what was good and bad about us. Where he can improve his game to match the player taking his place etc. Instead he was wandering around leeds

I’m surprised, I thought that would be standard.

No, I agree. The only circumstance I'd allow it to happen is if the player was transfer listed or their presence might in some way be disruptive.

    How bizarre.
Surely his contract states that working on Saturdays is compulsory.
I'd have made him drive the bus and slice the half time oranges while Thiam's back at Oakwell scraping Pidgeon kak off the seats.
They're still taking a wage even if they're not playing.

Another heart warming message from last night: -

"The poor lads, they looked mentally shattered at full time, they need building up big time for Wednesday. This is Conway's legacy....a team of young lads, sad and exhausted after playing their hearts out, and the loyal fans in the stand close to tears. Just f*** off Conway."

I'd be happy with Kieffer Moore and Ethan Pinnock to be honest.
