Positive thoughts

I said we weren’t good enough for this league and I put us down time after time. But today shown me that if we put our reserve back 4 in the squad we would get results. These current defenders are amateur. Apart from Williams who’s best of a bad bunch. Midfield and attacking play is actually good. We are scoring goals

 

I don’t think they are amateur , too young, not good enough,
That performance told me they have no heart, desire or clue when the opposition is coming at them .
I know they have played better than today or last few games but they choosing not to imo.

Well imo that defending or lack of didn’t happen by chance tbh.

Well I think it is ridiculous to suggest that one of our footballers chooses to "defend badly".

And don't think that they have.

You tell me why they would.

And if you can't come up with a reason, it may be better to withdraw your assertion.

 

I respect your opinion marlon. But they will never ever come good enough. Players make mistakes best players do. But professional footballers don’t do it every single game. These do. When people mention the Fulham game that was down to Fulham themselves and also our attacking play didn’t allow them to pressure the defenders as much

 

I think no heart or desire is a tad harsh, clueless yes.

Your opinion is that players at BFC are deliberately choosing to play badly.

Fair enough.

 

But they can’t be clueless surely they’ve been playing the game since probably nursery school .
What I saw today they were second to every ball and just didn’t commit to the opposition on the ball .
Maybe I shouldn’t have posted till I’d calmed down but that defensive performance was infuriating imo

everyone is welcome to an opinion but we all know...if we get a couple of average defenders things won’t be so bad but damage is done now sadly.
