Just got back

Thought would post my thoughts:

We can’t play the press in this league, we were always half a second too slow.
When we upped tempo in 2nd half we looked a lot more dangerous, downside was we give the ball away too as a result.
Both teams were poor overall.
There was a few odd referring decisions.
Chaplin is not a target man!!
Why didn’t we target their number 3 he was awful?

Dougal looked a class apart generally always with space and time and if we sell in Jan, he would be the one I would envisage attracting bids.

 

Thought Dougall was shocking today mate missen, still its only opinions.

 

I’d agree he wasn’t spectacular with the ball, what I saw was his work off the ball, he was always in space, showing for the ball, always seemed to have time and very rarely wasted much.
Very much a performance that can go under the radar for me.

 

What he did with the ball when he got it was poor today.

 

We abandoned the press last week, it didn’t return today. I’m a big fan of Dougall but he was awful today full stop.

 

Opinions I thought dougall was one of the worst on the pitch today

 

I thought he was the worst player on the pitch by a good distance, and that’s saying something.

 

Dougall was by his standards absolutely awful today.

Misplaced more passes than all the other games he’s played added together, and whilst he found space to receive the ball continually he provided very little of the normal cover for the back line he normally does.

it’s easy to find space in Defensive midfield

 

I love Kenny, he's a decent guy.. but he was really poor vs Stoke, but then again they all were
