Beaten once in last four, 3 of which against top teams; scored in all those games. As long as we're not complacent and show we really want it, it's there for us. Come on you reds, let's get that win and carry the momentum on to the next games against those around us!
Crucial part of the season. Lose and I really do fear for us, win and it could be a springboard to enable us to get more points going forward. It's very easy for young players to become demoralised, but it's been pleasing to see that's not been the case with our lads. They are continuing to try their best, as evidenced against Bristol last time out. As we know, our main Achilles heel thus far has been our failure to defend dead ball situations. It's been criminal to watch an opponent plant the ball into our net unchallenged and the situation has not been helped when you consider that if we had had a defender on the post at least two of the goals we have conceded could possibly have been prevented. Let's hope the lesson has been learned. If we can improve the defensive side of our game and start to convert some of the easier chances that have been created instead of missing the rigging altogether and add some experience in January, we just might have enough points come the end of the season.
If we mention it...does it cancel out the magpie? Ive saluted it and said that good morning thing....so will we be ok?
We're really blowing this considering the other results around us. Which Barnsley has turned up, or not, as the case may be.
