Two wing backs - because the full back positions are our weakest points of the team.
And one centre midfielder that can run at defenders, pass the ball accurately and is able to steady the ship - which is something else that we haven’t got at the club.
A Duffy type or a Bannan type would be good.

All 3 of them in the 30 year old category and all on LOAN or a one year contract.
Let’s get over this hurdle of first year back in the Championship.
After that the directors would then be able to assess things a bit clearer.

For me one decent experienced CB would be great. It’s okay when Diaby and Halme are both fit but without them we look far weaker.

Can’t disagree but not a snowballs chance in hell that it’ll happen.
Pointless to discuss it really, sadly....

2 full backs, 2 central defenders, 1 midfielder and a striker.

At least, bare minimum. Not a cat in hells chance of getting any.

If they don’t get some experience in it’s gonna cost em.
If they think experienced players only value is in ££££s in transfers then obviously they aren’t the good Buisness men they think they are .
Experience will save us from the drop in the immediate future imo which saves them money .
Also if they had brought some in in the first place we probably would be competing better so more gate money + not relegated is even more money .
Then there’s players value and if some of these players were taking on board the experienced players and learning then their stock goes up other teams notice and that’s more money ,

You are right, but many of us were saying this before the season started.

I wouldn't say we could afford that many players, but one or two, could / would have made a difference.

Coutts (ex blade) would have been a good shout, think he signed for Fleetwood on a freebie and McShane for CB, he's just signed for Rochdale on a freebie I believe.

We didn’t need old players of third division standard. We needed a few players of Championship standard who’ve played a few hundred games, seasoned but quality. Not necessarily old, but proven at the level. There were plenty available.

The central defenders we have are very good and will only get better.
Our defensive failings are down the sides.

I must have missed those clean sheets we’ve been keeping! I think 2 of them might be very good in 3 years time.

Come on Nudge. They need an experienced head in with them.

Experienced full backs would be nice but aren’t essential - young ones will do. Just ones who will try to stop a cross and try and mark rather than stand still flat footed.

With Dougall back in midfield, the most pressing need now is an experienced head at the back. We are crying out for it.

Aren’t full backs ..... at the back ???
Central defence is ok ...... it’s the full backs where our problems stem from at the back.
    We need experienced wing backs.

And going forward we need an experienced player in midfield that can drive us forward both physically and mentally.
We have no creativity in midfield.
Pass after pass going is currently going astray.

There is more than adequate energy in the side.
We need players alongside those energetic players that can bring the best out of them.

Iv got to agree, we have a forward playing left wing back and someone at right wing back who doesnt have the concentration or work rate to be a consistent championship defender. Two quality additions in those areas aswel as central midfield and up front would greatly enhance our chances.
