Barnsley play a suicidal high line so it was obvious we would try and exploit it. He also said he didn't think we deserved to lose and a draw was a fair result.

I think he's right on both counts.

Given they had only one shot on target and both goals came from set pieces, Little Lee’s strategy didn’t really pay off, did it.

Ironic that, because we caught them on the break a hell of a lot in the first half.

When alls said and done, their goals didn't come from exploiting our suicidal high line. They came from us not marking men.

I said in a thread after the game that in the first half hour their attackers kept getting in behind between Sibbick and Brown but they didn’t exactly capitalise on this.

Brizzle City certainly didn’t look like a top 6 side to me but I guess that’s the championship for you.

In fairness to him, he’s right on both counts, prior to the game we played a high line press, the TV guys did a big thing on it prior to the game, didn’t work for them cos we changed tactics against them. And we didn’t deserve to lose.

Massive hole behind Brown. We said same.

This is why I couldn't make out if we were playing 3 or 4 at the back. Sibbick didn't seem wide enough and Brown was pushed up.

There seemed very little understanding between them, and both playing on wrong side.

    Recipe for disaster.

A decent manager would have exploited it and battered us.

It was Lee Johnson, though. He's fvcking ****, and so we got a point.

Yeah, it certainly seemed like it was going to cost us eventually but thankfully, it didn’t.

I’m not sure about Brown at left wing back. Half the time he looks like he’s not sure when to push on or sit back, suppose you can’t really blame him as it’s not his position. I would’ve thought Ben Williams would be more suited to the role?

Although they would have gone top had they beat us and he hasn't spent millions in comparison with other teams up there so he isnt doing that bad.

Think if you tot up what he’s spent since he’s been there, it’s a fair few quid.

They had a centre half that they paid Chelsea £8million for and another one they're allegedly paying £20k a week to. They're hardly paupers.

They lost Brownhill early on in the game and had several other injuries. I expect their wins came prior to those.
