Problem is, according to my sky app we had 26 shots tonight but still didn't win. 4 or 6 points gap doesn't sound much, but when your best efforts are only producing draws, it takes some catching up.
That’s the problem mate. Showed some proper character tonight but it still wasn’t enough. If you gift the goals we do it’s a hopeless battle. Still came away feeling good tonight though, that makes a nice change lol!
If you give teams a 2 goal start more often than not u dont win. We have gave sloopy goals away in just about every game since hillsbro yet we have to work our balls off to score our goals. We need a liitle run of wins 3 maybe to drag us back with the rest. Draws wont keep us up!
The amount on here who seem to reluctant to take even a smidge of joy from coming back from two nil against a promotion contender is unbelievable. Yes the board have behaved poorly in sacking stendel and made some errors in recruitment. But they've also assembled a squad who to me seem to genuinely give a **** and never seem to give up. We've now performed well and drawn against three of the top teams over the last four games. Lose to stoke and yes all the hard work becomes unravelled. However, that hasn't happened yet and we are currently just 3 points from safety with over half a season to go. Good chance that we'll go down but not as doomed as some like to constantly remind us we are.
