Agree with that last bit and the crucial thing is we’re not learning from them,
Every time we come from a defeat or a draw that should have been a win we get the well learn from this mantra but we never do the same mistakes are made again.
Yes Sibbick should have stopped the cross for Hudds first goal but it should be anticipated that the cross would come over and defended if so .
Neither happened the Hudds player walked up to the ball to tap it In whilst cavare watched .
If we gonna say we’ll learn from this well bloody well learn not keep saying it for the same mistakes .
There wasn’t a lot to be done about both WBAs and Hudds second goals but the impetus they had from those first gift goals made them inevitable ,
We need to start being able to go 0-0 or even better 1-0 to get some confidence into the team and if we can hold our nerve while January you never know we might just get the investment we need I just hope it isn’t too late by then .

I agree with diaby but for me sibbock should have done alot better to stop the cross in the 1st place the ball goes across goal and their forward taps in but sibbock could have done alot better, you could have also mentioned Anderson's nightmare game v derby his nightmare defending for the 1st and the giving the pen away.

But look at the players we sold potts, moore 3millon pinnock 3million lindsay 2.5million rising to 3 we got 6million for getting promoted t.v rights and 1 million for villa going up if we cant afford 1.2 million for wilks and 700k for thomas they is something seriously wrong. Still slot of money unaccounted for in out/in transfers january should be interesting.

To be fair though the club have already said that we have money to spend in January as we missed out on a couple of big money targets in the run up to deadline day.

Challenge with undisclosed is you see lots of figures - Thomas at £1 million, Diaby and Anderson both at the £700k mark. Wilkes £1.2m. Radlinger on the same weekly wage as Pinnock and Lindsay combined. Improved contracts for the current squad as well.

All speculative of course and other fees might have been banded about too.

Didnt think diaby or Anderson were that much and the initial fee quoted for Thomas was 700k. See what happens in January as regards transfers but having said that january is a seller's market were alotof the time prices are inflated as clubs are desperate for promotion or to avoid relegation...

I would be surprised if Andersen and Diaby were 700k combined.

I’ve said it several times that the players we signed I don’t have a problem with. We know some will work out and others won’t. It’s the players we didn’t sign. I always felt we were weak defensively down the flanks and had few attacking options. When we knew the challenge even before end of last season we also must have known early who was leaving then to not solve it before the season is an issue and one we can’t blame players or head coach for. Also I think that dash of experience which let’s not forget we could have had with a loan or two is also our own undoing.
