That’s completely irrelevant to the point I was making.

They lived within their means spent relatively little and occasionally made signings that were solely decisions made to further onfield success. It’s the decision making process where they balance success with living within their means that is important. We do not do this. On field success is not considered.

Another example of prioritising on field success could be Barnsley under Mel Machin or any Neil warmock Team. You could also use Millwall as an example or Charlton or Luton. They have made some decisions just solely to achieve on field aims. We
Aye I’m for my bed. Just a troll looking for an argument.

Nah, Normally, I just stop replying but tonight I felt like running with it, because at the end of the day, I love Barnsley and have some time on my hands so felt like just taking it further - I'm sorry I didn't just give up - because obviously its me arguing the toss as a result and not you,......

Are you ok? They clearly got out of the Championship by spending vastly more money then us, It might be hard to take but I urge you face reality,
I mean if Wilder, who I agree is a good manager, and as such probably does break the rule on just wages to finishing position ratio, is such a genius, he'll be the next man Utd manager.

We didn’t get out of the championship. I have just shown you a list of all the players they signed last year. Would you not agree that in agree that in terms transfer fees paid they spent very little? If you disagree from that list can you show me where they spent a significant amount of money to get promoted

Stop comparing them to us that is totally irrelevant given we did not get promoted into the premier league. A more apposite comparison would be Aston Villa. Would you say comparative to Villa or indeed Norwich. Who both used a debt model to get promoted. Your view is that there only is a debt model to achieve success. United show there isn’t.

anyway I’ve fed the troll enough.

'Happy with the performance, and the changes, but a bit disappointed we didn't win the game.

It's a tough old league when you play so well but still don't win'

That's what I said last night, and most people concurred.

You wanting to see that as having a downer on the players, says you were clearly looking for an argument last night.

You were looking for things that weren't there.

Did we need to sell moore 4 days before the window ended with no replacement lined up?
That's not the point though is it we weakened the squad while going for promotion.
What do you think to.moores replacement?
What do you think to brad potts replacement?

This! We are miles and miles behind these sides we were scraping at the end of last season and needed reinforcing not dismantling in the summer

If it's true Moore failed a medical ( was it Cardiff?) then I can see maybe why the board panicked and let him go to Wigan particularly in light of Sunderland suing their club doc but that's the only conceivable reason why it had to be then not later. Personally I'd have taken the hit and kept hold of him until at least Jan.

Possibly not, I'm only going by the figures reported, but not being anywhere near the £9b could be any number really.
