    Good game to watch. England defence was immense and going forwards they were not bad either. Come on the Irish

    Sat and watched the game with some of the Birmingham City team in the hotel. Had a chat with Marc Roberts, genuine nice guy who hasn’t forgotten his home town.

    Oddly enough we spoke about the need for experience at Championship level.

    anyway wished him all the best against Leeds today.

    I too was amazed how the TMO adamantly stated that both passes were OK. They are normally better than that.

    It was the defence that effectively won the game...forced Australia to run from places where they really didn't want to.

    I thought the actual (French) ref had a good game. And correctly overruled the TMO for thar forward pass. Though that didn’t really matter by then. Controlled the game well and seemed pretty fair to me
