    What you have written highlights the disconnect. Fans are fans because they have an agenda for the club/town/community. The current owners are NOT fans. They are here for the money, long-term or short-term. Whether that fits in with you or me as a fan is up to us

    I've not said I hate the board, or hate or blame anyone. I certainly don't blame Daniel Stendel, that is for sure.

    I do think the statement of 21 words was crass & the silence pervading now is deafening.

    I'm leaving judgement up to the end of January, by then I will have truly made my mind up, whether they have just underestimated what was required in the summer & put a real plan in place to rectify it, or whether they cash in our remaining assets & leave us in a mess for next season, as well as this. Clearly if we go down Woodrow & Mowatt will be off, so we need to be looking;

    A - at trying to stay up, with quality rather than quantity & some experience in the middle of the park.
    B - bringing in players for another promotion campaign if we are way adrift by then.
    C - making the current atmosphere less toxic, by communicating with the fans, as they did up to this season going so badly wrong.

    Failure to do so, could see us falling like a stone back to L1, 7K home crowds next season and a mid table L1 campaign next term.

    The ball is firmly in their court, all is not lost as yet, but the feeling by the regular balanced posters on here is not good at the moment, as our worst fears are looking closer to reality than we would all have hoped for, given we had massive reservations with the summer transfer window. The opening game & the fairly unlucky result vs Charlton gave us a sort of false hope that the lack of experience & wholesale sale of our best assets, without like for like replacements, those fears may have been unfounded. They clearly were not.

    Aye some good points BUT at the end of the day when everything has been cleared, new manager, points on the board/no points on the board what will fans do? Ultimately most will go through the turnstiles as they always have because they are creatures of habit. That's my assessment. So,I say again, if fans are happy with the new owners who are here to make a profit then so be it and why do people need to complain? If they are unhappy with the new owners then what should they really do? In my opinion the recent moaning/suggestion to chant Stendel's name/ to make a protest on 21 minutes are silly. If you want to follow the club then do so whether that is because the owners are here or not. If you don't like it then dont go. For myself at the moment i'm still going occasionally but I am slowly getting tired of the capitalist football model. It's crap and thats why modern football is crap for me. I can see me turning to golf at some point if I'm honest and that would be a sad thing for me but there you go.
    The current points total/formation/squad/tactics/manager/relegation/promotion are not important in the big scheme of things. It's the ownership per se and the INTENT of the owners that worries me and puts me off going even though it's me and not them that have been going for decades.

    I'm not sure it will. Far more money to be made in player sales than ticket sales.

    Addressing the OP: I don't hate them, I don't think they're evil and my feelings haven't changed all that much recently. I think they're a bunch of arseholes and the lack of communication recently has highlighted that. But I don't want to hang out with them so I don't care that they're a bunch of arseholes. They can be arseholes to their own friends and family. I'm not as concerned about the lack of communication as I am that they rid the club of a good head coach. So they're arseholes with poor judgement. And that in itself is less of a concern than what happened this summer which confirmed what I already suspected (knew) : we're not a football club, we're a trading club and profit takes precedent over team performance to the point where relegation really doesn't matter to them. Arseholes with poor judgment in charge of something I invest my time and emotions in that is now entirely wasted as those in charge have entirely different objectives.

    Doesn't make them evil. If it did we're all evil for trying to earn money. But I don't want them here. However, I am very fearful of their exit strategy and/or what would happen if the recruitment team don't perform as well as they have in the past and we're unable to move players on at a profit. I very much doubt the board have put themselves in a position that would allow them to lose a single penny of their own money or use it to help us if their strategy begins to make a loss. If it does I think we're fc*ked.
