With the Chinese it's all about 'face' , keeping it and not losing it. I suspect when the Chinese ownership are aware of the fan's backlash they will distance themselves from the American element.
so when are the americans, messrs conway and murphy going to meet their public, who pay their wages and give some answers, oh, and take some advice from people who support the club and know the game
Playing devils advocate here but is this not a racist thread based on stereotyping? If the title had been Pakistanis and the stereotype iterated certain people would have been on it like a ton of bricks.
What you say may be very true, but where I come from , and as far as I know, in most lines of business, you thank people for the great work they have done.
For me, it's got absolutely nothing to do with nationality. It hasn't even crossed my mind. Business people are business people the world over. We sign players to sell them at a profit. That's our model. The nationality of those doing that makes zero difference me. I want a football club and I haven't got one any more, it's just a trading company. They won't put us in debt, which is a good thing, but what does it matter if it survives or not when it no longer is what it claims to be. And when they've had enough, then what? I just can't see an end to this other than they close it, take the money out and walk away.
Tbh I don’t give a flying fk what nationality anybody is, I just want decency from my clubs upper management / ownership and a sense that it is being run sensibly ( it’s not- having a wholly young side makes no sense) with a view to being a progressive community based club not a cash cow. Kicking a popular enthusiastic manager into touch makes even less sense unless there is a very good reason we don’t know about. Which we don’t we are apparently just customers who exist just to pay our money. At least that’s how I feel right now!
