These owners are a disgrace we can’t fuel their greed they sold everyone a dream and this might seem early on but what they done in a short space of time is genuinely disgusting. Why did they have to come to us ?
I'm angry, sad, frustrated and upset. But I think we need to be balanced, fair and a bit careful with comments about our owners. My view is that they have made some awful decisions, influenced maybe by over-confidence / arrogance and it'd be difficult to argue that in recent times they've not been incompetent. But lots of posts on here (and on the FB page) are accusing them of intentionally doing it. Why would they do that? And we should remember that they recognised and appointed DS in the first place. In my view they're mad but not bad.
The problem is they didn’t reinvest all the money like promised and they have been too stubborn and not admitted they were wrong we needed experience like stendel kept on asking for and as they picked him and respected him that much they should of put their policy aside and given him what he wanted because he’s a brilliant manager
tbf, people weren't saying this when we got promoted. they will soon forget ever saying it as well, if the next manager turns it round
So our multimillion board have come here to rob us blind.Theyve sold a few players for few million, financed a dozen new players with fees, wages and long contracts.I bet they are billionaires now.
Fully agree with all of that Harry. A series of really, really bad decisions. I'm not excusing them, they have caused our current predicament. I just don't think they did it intentionally. Criticise them (and I am doing) but imo personal insults (for example I've seen one referring to Paul Conway as a fat b*st*rd) aren't justified
Tbf the love hold of Brian Clough and Alex Ferguson couldn’t get this team competitive and the next unknown Carlos Kickaball we get won’t
I agree. However when you actually look at the players who left, it's hardly great reading either. Stoke bottom, Davies not had a touch, pinnock 2 games, moore yet to score. The gap between L1 and the championship is huge. I think people lost sight of that, in the wave of getting promoted.
Pity the board didn’t recognise it then. We as fans simply pay our money and rely on these people to at least ensure we don’t end up as a laughing stock. As others have said ad nauseum, it is irrelevant how these players are doing at their new clubs. They were part of a TEAM and had built up an understanding of each other and how the manager wanted them to play. No doubt the current crop may get there, but we will be back in League One by then. If you are happy with that good on you. Some of us are not.
