Daniel would have the job as long as he wants it if it were up to me.

Stendel didnt lose a home game all last season had one of the best defensive records and played great football. We got the best points total for a barnsley team since god knows when which was required as other teams had good points tally. He also had woodrow and moore injured for large parts of the season. Just my opinion but I cant see a hecky team getting the required points total last season he is hardly setting the managerial world a light

As I said impossible to know. It’s fair to say Daniel isn’t setting the world alight either at the minute isn’t it?

He has a great squad to choose his 11 from aswell really spoilt for choice with all the quality.

Hecky turned one of the most expensive squads in the championship in 7th spot with games in hand into relegation form. Not complaining he did a great job at leeds.

I really think you need to let the hatred go it’ll tear you up.

The Hecky story. Bloke gets Job does well gets better job does poorly. It’s the past not our problem. I wish Paul well and acknowledge he did on balance a good job. You hold some daft grudge and have a chip on your shoulder

There is no ex player or ex manager I don’t wish well. I’m sure they all did their best for us. Sometimes it works sometimes it doesn’t. I want Johnson to succeed. I’d love Keith Hill to save Bolton. I’m happy when I see Conor scoring in the Premier League. All are part of our past and gave us memories some good some bad.

Thiam didn't cost a million and McGeehan and Potts hadn't got double figures in League One as they'd hardly played any football in League One. Moncur had though with something like 12 in 45 games.

Potts played a full season with Blackpool in L1 2015/16 scored 7 goals with 13 the following season at a lower level. McGeehan had a record of 1 in every 2 in L1 from midfield but you are right he hadn’t played in L1.

Mowatt had played and scored goals at a higher level.

Thiam fee whatever it was would be more than most teams entire squads in L1 I can only report what was said at the time which was close to a million with add ons. At 100k it would have been more than most opposition teams.

So just like I said, Potts and McGeehan didn't score double figures in League One? We are agreeing aren't we?

McGeehan's record of one in every two was from a 20 game spell before his injury. Wasn't as prolific the season before but still broke double figures.

Mcgheehan only ever played in league one when he was on loan at scunny where he hardly got a kick before us he played for luton in league 2.

Mowatt didn't do much at oxford when he had a full season there

Mowatt had been player of the year at Leeds in the League above and scored goals. Maybe you are right and the team was ****.

Yeah we agree we had a Team full of players who had scored goals. Bradshaw, Moore and Mowatt at a league above has had Woodrow and Thiam If we are splitting hairs

In fairness he looked like he doe now not fast enough for a poor team. In a decent team he would shine but isn’t the answer in a dog fight.

He only got played on the wing at Bristol though and then shipped out. Best we have got in this midfield though.

Got sent off on his debut and not trusted. At the minute he’s the best of a poor bunch should Heckingbottom have picked him. No he wasn’t good enough or fit enough. As you say at the time he wasn’t good enough to get in Oxfords team. He knuckled down and came back credit to him but let’s nit pretend he was in good shape or form when we signed him.

No reappraisal needed. A lovely guy and an intelligent manager, totally stitched over by a board who’s primary interest was financial. Sound familiar?

No Patrick Cryne wasn’t looking to make a profit.
