That’s my last one for this season. Can’t face the abject performances lack of any sort of ability to compete and general shiteness. Spent a fair bit of money and left with 15 minutes to go enough is enough. I don’t need to read along thread from Red Rain to know that we should be able to compete on and off the pitch with Preston who are a club of very similar size but they are light years ahead of us.
Came to the away conclusion a while ago. Sad thing is same conclusion i made on home games. I dont think people are against the players, the manager and coaches but the most obvious issue to give us a chance has been ignored - by design.
I'm same was going to book huddersfield next week as I have a few mates who are town fans really got no motivation for it at all.
my mates seen this coming a mile off and already rushed to buy us two tickets to WBA and promised a night out round Birmingham after. feel like killing him.
I’m sure it’s not. What we are doing clearly doesn’t work at Championship level so we need to look to clubs of a similar scale that are doing things better. Preston would be one.
some would say the Peterborough model, sell the players individually before they become a good enough team to get promoted
Yup if you can’t beat em join em. I suspect the money they have just raked in from Callum Robinson 13 millionish will cover those losses.
Cheers I’m sure you meant that...I suspect you are not a regular away game goer. 8 of us go to pretty much every away game. Sometimes there will be less than a couple of hundred there depending on League. We aren’t the only lot chucking in the towel so individually of course it’s meaningless but collectively of course it matters.
I was planning on doing every away game. I have a ticket for West Brom but I'm thinking of watching it on telly.
I think Chien should think **** it, here's 10 million Daniel, go below the ******* lot in January, that will bring us closer to Preston's spending. We'll worry about the wages after.
I work in Birmingham and even I'm thinking of just going home after. In reality though I'll trudge to the stadium like a battered wife, knowing what the outcome will be but unable to stay away.
Yeah, if it was a home game or nearby I'd probably still go out of habit, but the thought of getting home in the early hours and getting up to go to work after another routine beating isn't best appealing.
Or just not sell all your best players and replace them with maybe / maybe nots (if you replace them at all) just a thought.
