The commentator said it is quite remarkable that the teams average is under 21 That answers the question, we need a good centre half with old head and experiences and some body in mid field who can control us
Sad thing is, in spells, we look decent. 3-4 years in, these lads may we’ll be pretty decent. It’s grossly unfair what the recruitment team have done, naive at best, moronic at worst. Such a shame, hope this doesn’t damage some of these lads. Honest triers with a lot of good technique... just far too early for them.
I've got no doubt whatsoever that they'll set league 1 on fire next year, and win a transfer to a proper championship club.
Unfair to blame the recruitment team IMO. They are just doing what they are told, any blame should be laid at whoever sets out the strategy and signing off selling players and not signing experience. Usually would be a CEO or Director of Football, so guessing as we didn’t have either it sits with Conway.
Agree with that, everyone one of the new recruits I look at and I think "i can see why we signed him he has potential" "Far too early for them" especially en masse

3-4 years. Itll take a relegation and another couple of years under Stendel's coaching for them to be very good players. Oh yeah, then we'll sell them once we come back to the Championship in 2021. Rinse and repeat.
