    Sorry about this, but can't find a solution.

    I'm getting an alert every time someone starts a new thread. Anyone know how to switch that off? Tried the alert preferences and numerous other menus but can't locate it.

    Have you accidentally pressed "watch Forum", in which case the answer would be "unwatch Forum".
